July Snapshot #2
🕑 Added 2021-07-16 08:36:16 +0000 UTCGreetings everyone ^^ Its time for another snapshot covering this week's work which involves a new project! I'll be pairing up some screenshots for you to check out since there's plenty of things to follow in the pipeline. Following the reception to my marathon posting, I might just consider making it a monthly event (thanks to all of you who have supported it, it was good fun!) I've also considered going back to some of the older work and refurbishing them - perhaps with a community vote on which I should do first... time will tell ;)
On another note, I've also (finally) gotten around to really testing out Blender's grease pencil technology. Its very interesting, plenty of areas I'll need to brush up on since the key mapping and functions are wildly different from the current solution I'm using but with a few more experimental projects (like the one above) I might be able to introduce this tool into my working kit which might mean HD resolutions being introduced, crisper imagery, more interesting backgrounds & environment as well as advanced camera work. I'm mainly keen to see how color is handled with this since the current method is very time consuming.
That's all for this week, tune in next time for the release of my next project!
