On this day, my first proper free time day, I'm going to be working on reworking the backgrounds, just to make it easier for me and cut the coding time in half for some of it.
It used to be that picking if you're rich/poor and then what your family situation was like would give you the previous last name the mc had and the family situation, but that would get immensely confusing at times.
So, I'm going with the dragon age origins route. In that, you pick race, you pick class and off you go. I'm doing the same, where you pick the crime, pick rich or poor, and off you go.
For example-
Picking the prison origin, and then picking to be wealthy, would land you in the Dantes family, with a younger brother and two parents.
I'm going to be fixing that, and then continuing with the prison origin, but first going to rework most of the opening scene. Only after all the writing and finishing the prison origin, will I be sorting the opening on twine and uploading that to itchio.
Second is that I'm going to be writing the beta version of the first scene with all the RO, just for patreon just to open up future stuff to have with later posts.
