Edgeville Weekly Poll
🕑 Added 2023-09-26 15:35:50 +0000 UTCDo you think Edgeville should move into a Third Person Mode, or stay as a First Person Game Perspective?
First Person:
You could argue that the FPS game mode is more immersive, allowing you to roleplay more. The cons are that you can never really see your character, and platforming in 3D is more limited.
Third Person:
The third person game mode would allow for character customization that you can actually appreciate. However, it may take you out of the more "immersive" experience.
Edgeville
Since the gameplay in Edgeville is limited to simple interactions, I think the FPS perspective makes the most sense. However, I think the power in asking even simple questions like this lies in what the implication means to other people.
As I think about adding features like character customization, I have to consider these different perspectives. What good would character customization really do if you can't see it?
But this might be a red-herring, because the question may actually be "why add character customization at all?"
If you can, just take the question at face value....
When it comes to Edgeville, would your preference be a First-Person perspective or a Third-Person perspective?
