Didn't the entire pokemon anime dub drop the ball in music because the localization team chose to use the english openings as the music to play during the intense pokemon battles.

My advice is to stick with the dub, but rewatch certain scenes in sub. Constantly getting him to switch languages is grating

Watch episode 22 but skip the other fillers. So you will get to his gym battle within 7-8 episodes

Chill with the sub glazing. If he keeps switching between sub and dub for certain episodes it will just take away from both experiences

Has Cbloom even heard the ash-greninja battle theme in the japanese version? If he hasn't let him listen to it and see if that persuades him to watch the subbed version. I still think you should watch it in dub, but its your choice.

I want to say skip because you will reach the gym battle in 7 canon episodes, but I trust some of these guys on which filler are the best to watch. So I vote 1-2 but I can’t exactly remember which ones.
