Deep Blue Water
🕑 Added 2023-09-24 10:32:33 +0000 UTCAnd it feels,
feels like the waves
Take me away
from where I thought I’d belong
And it sounds,
sounds like the wind
Cradles me in
Its arms, singing their song
Deep blue water,
Hold me tight
I‘ll be your daughter
child of the night
And it moves,
Moves like the tide
Follows the bright
Full moon, as I follow you
And it sighs,
Sighs like the sea
Rushes beneath
my feet, leaving too soon
Deep blue water,
Hold me tight
I‘ll be your daughter
child of the night
And it fades
Fades like the dawn of day
Colored in a warm
golden haze, old becomes new
I've written these lines last week - after I was co-writing a new song with a friend of mine. It's not finished yet, but I already like a loooooot. Hope you're having a good sunday, autumn is arriving here in Vienna.
Take care of yourselves, all the best!
xx
