Making the inner walls now, the floors and ceilings heat insulation and other basic things. Still no windows though, plywood stubs cover the window holes for now, so it can get warm inside to work there. The real windows should come next week...

The structure looks sound. One time I tried to build a house out of good intentions and Facebook Likes but those materials, while plentiful, did not end up being structurally sound and the house fell apart shortly after construction (but before the installation of electrical and heating components) Apparently what works in my imagination doesn't map exactly to the real world. Home Depot sells bricks at $5.95 each but after I calculated I would need more than 3,500 bricks to complete my house I realized this was beyond the budget of a humble janitor, even if he worked at the Canadian Space Agency. I hope you have better luck in your home construction than I did!
