Wind Rises in Dragon City Chapter 15
🕑 Added 2024-10-30 14:51:34 +0000 UTCChapter 15: Pull Down the Shutters
In the lobby.
Su Tianyu saw Third Sister had already run to the second floor, and originally wanted to hold position at the stairway entrance to block them, but looking up, he saw Daxiong was already surrounded by six or seven men, spinning in circles wildly swinging the desk with both hands, in a very desperate situation.
Against the left wall of the room, the Su family workers were obediently squatting in a row with their heads covered, showing no intention of helping. Seeing this, Su Tianyu knew that if he didn't charge in, once Daxiong was cut down, he would definitely end up either dead or crippled.
Su Tianyu didn't hesitate any longer, stepping directly toward Daxiong's side, his movements very quick and decisive, without any dodging motions.
In an instant, Su Tianyu arrived at the side of the group. The thugs noticed him too, with one of them shouting loudly: "It's him, he's the one who cut off Brother Feng's ear!"
In the urgency, the thug had blurted out what was in his mind, essentially admitting they were Changqing Company's people, showing that both sides had their share of useless teammates.
Two men heard the shout and turned toward Su Tianyu with their knives, then without any hesitation swung to chop.
At this moment, Su Old Six, who was called the Su family's biggest coward by Su Miaomiao, showed no fear facing two knife-wielding thugs, but instead very nimbly stepped sideways, turning his body to avoid the knife swinging at his head.
"Bang!"
When the opponent raised his arm again, Su Tianyu delivered a straight punch, very accurately hitting the man's Adam's apple.
With just this hit, the knife-wielding thug immediately curled his neck and stepped back three times, bending over and breathing rapidly, his eyes bulging from pain.
The other burly man saw Su Tianyu's quick reactions and immediately raised his knife forward, putting all his strength into two slashes.
Su Tianyu used sidesteps and backward steps to dodge, just like a soldier doing bayonet fighting on the battlefield, consecutively avoiding the man's two slashes, while the thug became unsteady from stepping too urgently and missing repeatedly.
"Slap!"
After stepping back twice, Su Tianyu raised his arm, still very accurately grabbing the opponent's knife-wielding wrist and pulling hard forward, making the man's body instinctively lean forward.
"Bang! Bang!"
Su Tianyu turned sideways and raised his leg, kicking the man's right knee joint twice with his heel, each kick accompanied by a clear cracking sound.
"Thud!"
The burly man stumbled from the kicks, and with his knife arm still being held by Su Tianyu, his whole body was instantly pulled face-down onto the ground.
Su Tianyu held the man's arm and continuously stomped three times with his heel on vital points like the temple and back of the head. The man was immediately knocked senseless, dropping his knife.
When Su Tianyu fought, his movements weren't particularly beautiful, but they had clear characteristics - they were fast and accurate, specifically targeting vital points of the human body, very clean and decisive.
After taking down two men, Su Tianyu retreated again, because by now half the thugs in the room were charging at him with knives.
In the center of the crowd, Daxiong, holding the now-shattered registration desk, took advantage of the reduced pressure on his side to drive away two more people using his physique and brute force, then immediately ran toward the stairs.
Su Tianyu retreated to the dimly lit corridor entrance, already holding one of their knives in his hand. Seeing they had more people, his face still showed no fear, and instead of running, he stood facing them at the corridor entrance.
"Cut him!"
The thugs shouted as they charged up.
The lead floral-shirted man had also gotten up from the ground, touching the blood on his head and cursing through gritted teeth: "Damn it, a stinking porter dares to fight back, grab that idiot for me!"
"Tap tap!"
Just as the words fell, sudden hurried footsteps arose outside the main building lobby, and thirty to forty people charged in without warning.
Floral Shirt heard the sound and turned around, somewhat dazed seeing so many people rush in together.
At the front of the crowd, Su Tianbei, wearing a short-sleeve shirt with bandages on his arm, expressionlessly called out: "Pull down the shutters."
"Rattle rattle...!"
Three Su family members at the back raised their arms and directly pulled down the rolling shutter door of the main entrance, securing it with iron pins.
The door was closed!
Silence, for a moment the room was as quiet as a morgue, with Floral Shirt and his dozen or so thugs gathering together, sweat on their foreheads.
"What can you do bringing a few workers? Whoever comes at me first, I'll kill them first!" Floral Shirt, being something of a warrior, shouted through gritted teeth and charged at Su Tianbei with his knife.
Upstairs, footsteps arose as Su Miaomiao, her hair standing up, rushed down from the second-floor cafeteria with two kitchen knives, shouting fiercely: "Now they dare bully us at our own doorstep?! Second Brother, beat them!"
"Take them all down!" Su Tianbei's wounds hadn't fully healed, but he was the first to charge forward.
These thirty to forty people who came weren't ordinary Su family workers, but core brothers and cousins led by those sharing the Su surname - at least twenty of them - while the rest were all influential team leaders at the Su family, veteran employees who had started the business with Second Master Su. These people were quite united when together.
Su Tianbei could arrive so quickly because Su Tianyu had arranged it in advance, so these thirty to forty people were all prepared for a fight, and their weapons were all tools they normally used for work. Everything from two-meter-long hooks for pulling garbage, narrow triangular iron bars, steel chains for binding metal garbage, to shearing knives and other heavy weapons all made their appearance.
When Floral Shirt saw his earlier fierce words hadn't intimidated these thirty to forty people, he knew in his heart it was over. And by the time Su Tianbei's group charged forward together, it was too late to run.
Large iron bars and big hooks were raised high in the air, raining down like raindrops on the dozen or so thugs in the center of the lobby. Immediately screams and curses filled the air.
Floral Shirt stood at the front of the crowd and after resisting for less than three seconds, was taken down by four or five people, never to stand up again, being stomped like chewing gum, flopping around limply.
About two minutes later, the sound of breaking windows came from inside, followed by several thugs running out in a group. The Su family people chased for less than a hundred meters, and seeing the opponents had scattered and jumped over walls, they stopped pursuing.
Su Tianbei squatted down, bending to grab Floral Shirt's hair: "Paratrooper, Big Circle Boy, right? Pretty fierce, huh?"
"If you're a warrior, let's fight one-on-one...!" Floral Shirt hadn't submitted, replying hoarsely from the ground.
"Fine, fight him!" Su Tianbei stood up pointing at Floral Shirt and shouted.
Over a dozen workers raised their feet and continued the "one-on-one" with Floral Shirt.
After Second Brother entered the room, Su Tianyu hadn't fought anymore. He now quickly walked over, putting his arm around his brother's neck and saying softly: "The broken warehouse on the left, Third Sister cleared it out yesterday..."
"I know, there are people outside," Su Tianbei replied quietly.
Just as they finished speaking, the two broken warehouses to the left of the Su family garbage yard's main building suddenly caught fire.
"Fire! The people who came to wreck the yard set the warehouse on fire!" Su family workers outside shouted loudly.
......
In Zha'nan District.
Lu Feng was playing mahjong while answering his phone: "What's the situation?"
"Brother Feng, the Su family garbage yard was prepared. Soon after we went in, they rushed out with fifty or sixty people to beat us..."
"What? How could they be prepared?!" Lu Feng immediately stood up, asking in disbelief: "Where's Ah Ming (Floral Shirt)?"
"I... I don't know! We were fighting with them inside, got scattered, everyone ran their own way, I don't know if Brother Ah Ming got out or not," the other person replied.
Hearing this, Lu Feng shoved aside the mahjong tiles in front of him and turned to leave.
Ten minutes later, Kong Zhenghui heard that something had happened at the Su family yard and immediately called Su Tiannan: "Have the Police Department people arrived? Right, right, first don't let the injured workers leave, I'll bring people over right away!"
