An Qiqi's car was a pure parallel import, with no corresponding brand stores in Dragon City, so repairs could only be done at other repair shops.
Fortunately, Bai Hongbo had a wide circle of friends and knew all sorts of people, so he helped Su Tianyu and An Qiqi find a car service center for similar types of vehicles.
At the entrance of Baotong Auto Service Center in Longkou District, staff members were inspecting An Qiqi's car, while Bai Hongbo and Su Tianyu stood in the shade, quietly commenting on the three Yu sisters chattering not far away.
"These three sisters are hot, looking at them makes me rock hard," Bai Hongbo said softly to Su Tianyu. "Hey, do you know what their relationship is?"
"I think two of them are Yu Mingyuan's sisters, and An Qiqi is their cousin," Su Tianyu replied in a low voice.
"In the prime of youth, beautiful and vibrant, every inch of their skin is translucent collagen, so hot!"
"Where do you get so many descriptive words from every day?" Su Tianyu replied, somewhat speechless.
"...Come on, let's go chat with them. It's so boring just standing here," Bai Hongbo called out, unable to contain himself.
"I'm texting Tiannan."
"Damn, what's the use of texting him? I give up!" Bai Hongbo threw down these words and immediately took small steps towards An Qiqi's side. "Hi, sisters, what are you chatting about?"
An Qiqi and the other two turned around, and one of the girls with a baby face casually replied: "What is it, uncle?"
"What kind of address is that? Call me brother!"
"Old man, you must be at least 35, almost twice my age," the baby-faced girl replied with a pout. "Isn't it inappropriate to call you brother?"
"Sister, what kind of eyesight do you have? I'm only 25!" Seeing the little girl engage in conversation, Bai Hongbo immediately got excited. "It's so hot today, let's not stay here. Come on, I'll treat you to some cold drinks. It'll take a while for them to check the car."
"No, thanks. We'll wait a bit, pay, and then go back. We have evening classes," An Qiqi felt that Bai Hongbo didn't seem like a good guy, so she politely refused.
Bai Hongbo's most impressive trait was that he could start a conversation with anyone and wasn't afraid of awkwardness. If others talked about cosmetics, he could chat about menstrual cycles; if others said seawater was salty, he could say he just drank two mouthfuls yesterday. In short, when it came to finding topics, he was definitely talented.
In the shaded entrance, Su Tianyu was holding his phone and frequently observing the beauties when the staff member suddenly called out: "Brother, I've finished checking the car."
Su Tianyu turned around: "How much?"
"About three thousand," the staff member pointed at the rear of the car and replied: "This needs to be repainted, and the windshield needs to be replaced..."
"My friend asked a Zone One 4S store, and it didn't cost that much!"
"Of course, it's cheaper to repair in Zone One, but you'd have to mail the paint and windshield over here, and then we'd have to do it. The cost is definitely higher," the staff member replied casually. "Or we could use parts from other manufacturers, which would be much cheaper."
"Forget it, just use the original parts," Su Tianyu said as he walked to the car, grabbed a cushion, bent down to sit, and examined the damaged areas of the vehicle. "I won't haggle over the cost, but when you paint it, you need to remove the chassis guard, then take off the rear bumper, and paint all the gaps. Also, for this fender, you can't just push it out from the inside, it won't be flat that way..."
The staff member looked at Su Tianyu in bewilderment, thinking he had encountered someone who knew the trade.
Su Tianyu actually had some understanding of cars because he had been in a basic-level unit, where outdoor maintenance of mechanized military equipment was common. Although he couldn't claim to be an expert, he at least wouldn't be easily fooled.
After talking with Su Tianyu for about three or four minutes, the staff member said softly: "Alright, you can pick up the car in ten days."
"Thank you, master," Su Tianyu patted the dust off his body and handed the man a pack of cigarettes. "Please do a good job with it."
"Hehe, sure!" The staff member nodded with a smile.
Beside them, Bai Hongbo, An Qiqi, and the others walked over.
"Why did you crawl under the car?" Bai Hongbo asked.
"Just helping to check," Su Tianyu turned to An Qiqi and said: "The price has been negotiated. You can pick up the car in ten days."
"Okay," An Qiqi stood in the sunlight, raising her slender arm to shield her eyes from the sun, blinking her big eyes as she glanced at Su Tianyu, then smiled and said: "Thank you for your trouble."
Originally, An Qiqi was quite angry about her new car being damaged, but seeing Su Tianyu busy back and forth, even personally lying under the car to communicate with the staff, showing that he cared, her anger dissipated.
"You're welcome, I caused you trouble. Hehe, don't tell your big brother about fixing this car, okay?" Su Tianyu replied with a smile.
"By the way, you work for my brother, right?" An Qiqi asked.
"Yes, I'm at his company."
"Oh, then I'll put in a good word for you with him later, hehe!" An Qiqi replied casually, then turned her head and saw a pink car cover hanging on the sales wall inside. She immediately said: "Wow, that car cover looks so nice. How much is it?"
"For your car, it would cost over 800 yuan."
"That's so expensive!"
"This is the best Dragon Film, even small stones won't scratch it," the staff member started to promote.
An Qiqi looked at the car cover and hesitated a bit: "Forget it, I'm broke lately. Maybe next time."
"How about 500?" Su Tianyu casually asked the staff member.
"500 won't do."
"Come on, we've done so much business here, can't you give us a discount?"
"The lowest would be over 600," the staff member shook his head.
"Alright, then add a car cover and we'll pay for everything together," Su Tianyu replied generously.
"This won't do," An Qiqi immediately stopped him. "Just fixing the car is enough!"
"It's been almost two months, I feel quite bad about it. Consider this as interest compensation," Su Tianyu turned to Big Bai and said: "Pay up, brother."
Bai Hongbo rolled his eyes and muttered softly: "Damn, showing off with my money!"
Despite saying this, Bai Hongbo still went inside with the staff member to make the payment. An Qiqi tried to stop them a couple of times, but seeing Su Tianyu insist, she didn't continue to refuse and just smiled, saying: "Alright then, you don't need to compensate for the Winnie the Pooh. I'll treat you to a meal later."
"A candlelit dinner?" Su Tianyu asked with a smile.
An Qiqi paused for a moment, then replied with a pout: "Your flirting is too clumsy, isn't it?"
As they were chatting idly, Su Tianyu's phone rang. He immediately walked to the side and pressed the answer button: "Hello?"
"I've rented the speedboats and the house. Come over," Linda's voice came through.
"Okay," Su Tianyu hung up the phone, turned to An Qiqi and said: "We have some business to attend to, so we need to leave first. The car will be left here, you can come pick it up later."
"Alright," An Qiqi nodded.
Bai Hongbo came out of the store after paying, originally wanting to have some cold drinks with the three beauties, but was forcibly called away by Su Tianyu to attend to official business.
On the way back to school, the baby-faced girl asked An Qiqi: "Hehe, is he the one who wanted to cut out your mammary glands? I think he's quite handsome...!"
"He's okay, I don't feel anything special," An Qiqi replied casually.
"Hey, Doll, did you give your number to that Bai Hongbo just now?"
"Ah, he said he's studying to be a director and can help introduce me to internship opportunities," the baby-faced girl replied innocently.
As she finished speaking, Doll's phone rang. She looked at it and saw a text message from Bai Hongbo. The content was very simple, just a date accurate to the millisecond.
Doll's interest was piqued, and she replied asking: "What does this mean?"
"Nothing, it's just the time when we met..." Bai Hongbo replied sentimentally.
"Haha, I'm really going to throw up!" Doll laughed loudly looking at her phone. "What the hell, the day we met? This old man is quite interesting..."
......
In the evening.
Three box trucks with trailers stopped on a small rural road in Zha'nan District. Linda said softly to Su Tianyu: "Inside are three speedboats for carrying goods. I've also rented a three-story building not far ahead for regular business."
Su Tianyu nodded: "Alright, I got it."
"Boss Yu said that you'll be in charge of importing and transporting goods," Linda added.
Su Tianyu grinned: "Okay, I'll give it a try."
Yu Mingyuan was decisive and methodical in his actions. Once the team was formed and all preparations were complete, he contacted the suppliers.
A week later, the first batch of goods arrived.
At around 8 PM, everyone gathered at the Su family garbage yard to prepare for work. An exciting and thrilling night was about to unfold.
