Early the next morning, in Mingyuan Trading Company, Bai Hongbo scanned the various young beauties in the work area with a sly look, and said in a low voice to Su Tianyu: "Brother, your work environment is not bad. At a glance, these are all 200-point quality girls."
"Don't be like a Teddy dog, be more steady," Su Tianyu turned back and reprimanded.
"Those two at the front desk are really nice...!" Bai Hongbo's life interests were relatively simple: he liked "reading" and women.
"Wait here for a moment, I'll go greet the boss first," Su Tianyu brought Bai Hongbo to the office door and instructed in a low voice.
"Okay, you go ahead," Bai Hongbo nodded and sat down in an empty seat by the door.
Su Tianyu pushed open the door and walked into Yu Mingyuan's office, smiling and saying: "Good morning, BOSS!"
"Hehe, you're quite early!" Yu Mingyuan replied with a smile.
Outside, Bai Hongbo looked at the female secretary who was applying makeup and grinned, asking: "Sister, haven't we met somewhere before? You look a bit familiar."
"You are...?" The female secretary was a bit puzzled.
"You really don't remember me? Think again...!" Bai Hongbo crossed his legs and smoothly struck up a conversation with her.
......
Inside the office.
Su Tianyu bent down to sit in the chair and said softly: "Brother Yuan, I discussed it with Second Uncle last night, and he's quite interested in this matter too."
"That's good," Yu Mingyuan took a sip of tea. "Let's try it together then."
"Mm, my Second Uncle's idea is that we should work with the company first to see if this business is easy to handle. If it goes smoothly, he'll also try to expand some scattered goods channels later," Su Tianyu asked softly: "When do you think we can officially start doing this?"
Yu Mingyuan replied in a low voice: "Goods can come at any time. If there's no problem, you get some people ready, and we'll do a couple of deals first to see how it goes."
"Alright," Su Tianyu agreed immediately: "Then let's do it first."
"Good. This afternoon, I'll have Linda go out to make some purchases, get you some equipment. When the goods are about to arrive, you take the first deal," Yu Mingyuan thought for a moment and said: "For the first time, let your Su family provide the manpower."
Su Tianyu rubbed his palms together and deliberately moved closer to Yu Mingyuan: "Brother Yuan, there's one more thing."
"Go ahead."
"Bai Hongbo from the Bai family has a good relationship with me. They also want to join in. Do you think you could leave a spot for him?" Su Tianyu said frankly.
Yu Mingyuan paused for a moment, frowning slightly as he replied: "We haven't even started the business yet. Won't it be troublesome if there are too many people? We're just starting, the scale won't be too big. If one more family joins, the profits might be diluted."
"The Bai family has the Chaozhou Association behind them. If they can join, it will be a big help in terms of distribution and sales later," Su Tianyu said in a low voice. "And Bai Hongbo really does have a good relationship with me. Hehe, back at Fuman Tower, he even took a couple of knife wounds for me."
Yu Mingyuan thought for a moment: "Is Bai Hongbo in charge of the Bai family now?"
"Yes, his father's health hasn't been good since he got out, so he's basically not managing the company's business anymore. It's all him leading the Bai family people now," Su Tianyu nodded. "He'll basically take over in the future."
Yu Mingyuan fell into deep thought.
"Bai Hongbo is a very sincere and passionate person. After his father got out, he also wanted to talk with Uncle, but never had the chance to meet," Su Tianyu added. "This is a good opportunity for him to come pay his respects and cling to a big leg."
Yu Mingyuan turned to look at Su Tianyu: "Hehe, you little bastard, you talk like you're singing. It's really fucking pleasant to hear."
"My musical talent has always been good."
"You've brought him here?"
"Ah, he's just outside."
"Alright, call him in to chat," Yu Mingyuan nodded in reply.
Hearing this, Su Tianyu immediately stood up with a smile and walked out of the office. He looked up to see Bai Hongbo and Linda chatting excitedly about cosmetics. "Stop chatting, what did you come here for, don't you know? Damn, come in quickly!"
Bai Hongbo stood up with a smile and said to Linda: "We'll chat later, sister!"
The two entered the room together, and Su Tianyu introduced Bai Hongbo to Yu Mingyuan: "Brother Yuan, this is my good brother, Bai Hongbo."
"Sit down, hehe!" Yu Mingyuan nodded and greeted.
And so, Bai Hongbo sat down and began to have an in-depth conversation with Yu Mingyuan.
In fact, Yu Mingyuan hadn't called the Bai family this time for two reasons: First, the background of the Chaozhou Association was also very complex, and the Bai family belonged to this circle, so the Yu family wasn't very interested in roping them in initially; Second, the business the Yu family wanted to do now hadn't fully started yet, and there was no need to bring in so many people, because they wouldn't need that many people, and it would also dilute the benefits.
However, with Su Tianyu bridging the gap, and Bai Hongbo himself willing to come pay his respects, Yu Mingyuan didn't push him away. So, the initial team for this business was temporarily formed.
The Yu family was responsible for importing goods and initial sales after the goods landed. Tang Baiqing from the Maritime Police was responsible for ground-level relationships, while the Su, Bai, and Kong families acted as couriers, storing goods, and distributing and delivering scattered goods.
With the matter settled, the initial operation was put on the agenda. After Su Tianyu and Bai Hongbo left, Yu Mingyuan ordered Linda to start purchasing some necessary equipment.
......
In the car downstairs from Mingyuan Company, Bai Hongbo grinned at Su Tianyu and said: "Brother, thank you for this."
"Let's not talk about thanks, how about something more substantial?" Su Tianyu asked.
"Damn, you open your heart to me, I'll give you my life!" Bai Hongbo replied generously: "Something substantial? Tell me, who do you want to fuck?"
Su Tianyu broke out in a cold sweat: "Can you be a bit more civilized?"
"This is called returning to nature, not pretending," Bai Hongbo started the car. "Tell me, what do you want to do?"
"Can you lend me some money?" Su Tianyu asked.
"Huh?"
"A girl from the Yu family had her car smashed because of me. I promised to fix it for her before, but never had the time," Su Tianyu said helplessly. "It's been almost two months now. Lend me some money, I'll fix it for her."
"You... still don't have money? Aren't you the assistant to the general manager?"
"I've been working for less than a month, big brother!" Su Tianyu really didn't have much money. Although he had participated in Zone One's independence movement during his school days and had received some military expense allowances, he had lent that money to his comrades. After returning to Dragon City, he was too embarrassed to ask Second Uncle's family for daily expenses, so his pockets were empty recently.
"How much money?" Bai Hongbo asked.
"Over three thousand."
"Ah, I have enough in my pocket. Let's go, I'll go with you," Bai Hongbo agreed readily.
"I'll pay you back when I get my salary!"
"No need, just consider it me treating you for doing me a favor."
"...You're so generous?"
"Money doesn't mean shit, you can't bring it when you're born or take it when you die," Bai Hongbo did have a bit of a cultured person's attitude in this regard. "Let's go."
......
Five minutes later.
At the gate of Dragon City National University, three beautiful young girls were walking side by side.
"Ring ring!"
A phone rang, and the girl in the middle answered: "Hello?"
"Is this An Qiqi? Are you free? Let's resolve the car issue."
"...Ah, it's you!"
