Yuder entered the bedroom, pushing open the door with a hole where the handle should have been. The room was still a mess, but to Yuder now, that scene felt rather cozy, like a den.
As he made his way through the deeply settled scent, the bed appeared. Kishiar was quietly sleeping there, surprisingly still not broken or collapsed despite the chaos they had been through.
Yuder stood by the bed, gazing at that innocently sleeping figure like a night angel from scripture. His posture, his breathing, nothing had changed at all from what Yuder had seen before leaving this place.
'Fortunately, he didn't wake up.'
He had fallen asleep just before Yuder headed downstairs. As had been the case since the heat began, when Yuder woke up from what felt like a faint-like sleep, he found that Kishiar had also fallen asleep holding him in his arms. Yuder had spent some time sitting beside him to see if he would wake up immediately, then carefully got up, roughly put on his lower garments and coat, and went downstairs and back.
He had been worried because Kishiar hadn't even shown signs of dozing properly, let alone taking short naps, but seeing him deeply asleep now belied that worry and made him feel relieved.
'Although it's a bit different from my pattern... anyway, the fact that he's started sleeping probably means the heat is coming to an end.'
He hadn't realized 5 days had passed, but he had just been thinking that he really should start eating soon. While with Kishiar, perhaps due to his influence, Yuder hadn't felt tired even without sleeping much or eating, but the last time before falling asleep, he had faintly heard his stomach growling with hunger for the first time.
'Still, I didn't particularly feel hungry...'
Whether by coincidence or not, Kishiar falling asleep right after that was fortunate for Yuder.
He set the basket down on the table and looked around.
'I should tidy up a bit during this time.'
As he raised his hand and waved it slightly, a pleasant level of wind blew and water droplets swelled, instantly starting to tidy up the room roughly. He personally embraced and moved the sheets and clothes strewn messily on the bed, and roughly cleared away broken or fallen objects, making the bedroom much cleaner.
Fortunately, Kishiar was still sleeping through all this. The fact that such a light sleeper and sensitive man was sleeping so deeply gave Yuder considerable satisfaction and slight worry simultaneously.
'It's good that he's sleeping well... but I hope there's no problem with his condition causing this.'
Finally, after opening the bedroom curtains, Yuder approached and sat down by the bed. He carefully caressed the golden hair shimmering under the light, then touched the smooth forehead, feeling a body temperature slightly hotter than usual.
'Judging by his temperature, it seems the heat indeed hasn't ended yet.'
He thought it would be better to remove his hand and let him sleep more like this, but unlike his reason, his body didn't move easily. It had been a while since he had leisurely observed his face like this, having been constantly mixing bodies. He hadn't even touched him properly, so couldn't he examine him a little more in this opportunity?
"..."
Yuder stared down at the face that was irresistibly captivating even while sleeping for a long time, then finally let out a short sigh.
'Alright. Just for a moment... just a very brief moment more, let's examine him.'
In the fierce battle between desire and reason, desire won again. It was an inevitable result as long as Kishiar was the subject.
Yuder lowered his hand a little more and stroked above the closed eyelids. The long eyelashes brushing against his thumb tickled like a brush, making him unconsciously smile faintly. After touching them up and down a few times, he slid down to the smooth cheeks and bridge of the nose, and this time his lips caught his attention.
His fingertips, heading towards the reddened swollen lips, slowly stroked the lower part. Having only seen them wet all this time, seeing them dry like this somehow felt strangely unfamiliar.
But Yuder still clearly remembered what those lips had done to him. There was probably no one in the world who knew better than him what those seemingly perfect beautiful lips and tongue could do besides speaking, what they could bestow upon another.
Recalling the kiss just before falling asleep, new desire bloomed somewhere and burst like a water droplet again. Yuder continued caressing Kishiar's lips, and finally succumbing to impulse, he bent down.
Although it wasn't the first time they had kissed, his heart was beating so loudly he was worried it might be heard. The moment he parted from the lips that had met with a slight thrill, Yuder's gaze met red eyes looking straight at him.
Before he could ask if he had woken up, a hand happily approached and grasped the back of Yuder's neck.
"Mmm. Uft."
When he came to his senses, he found himself half-lying on top of Kishiar, deeply kissing while feeling the pounding pulse clearly. The cloak he had still been wearing was already half-removed, and with the hood flipped back, his hair was also a mess.
"Haa, wait, just a moment..."
Yuder slightly avoided the continuing kisses and waved his hand.
"I brought food. Let's eat together."
"..."
Kishiar blinked as if he didn't understand what food was. Yuder removed the messy cloak and uncovered the cloth covering the basket. The food Nathan Zuckerman had given consisted of several types of preservative bread made in the Northern style, meat jelly, and cookies and candies.
"Is there anything in particular you want to eat?"
He asked, placing the basket on the bed, but instead of answering, Kishiar just pulled Yuder close and embraced him. Trapped between his legs in his embrace, Yuder just picked up whatever bread his hand touched. It was a square brown bread baked with a hard exterior and chewy interior. He tore off a bite-sized piece and held it to Kishiar's mouth, and the man slowly opened his lips to bite it.
But it wasn't to eat it himself. The man who had bitten the bread with his teeth then grasped Yuder's face and passed it over as if kissing him.
"This isn't for me..."
It was useless to try to refuse. After Yuder roughly chewed and swallowed it, intending to say something after eating, a smile spread across Kishiar's face. Seeing that smile, a realization dawned in Yuder's mind.
'...Perhaps he wanted me to eat first?'
Just because reason had left due to heat didn't mean he had become a completely different person. His desires were the same, but the way he pursued them had just become very simple and clear.
Whenever they ate together normally, Kishiar was always very attentive to ensure that Yuder ate more, longer, and more comfortably. Especially in places where they didn't need to consider anyone else's face, that is, when they had to eat something in the bedroom alone like now, he had often sat Yuder on his lap and fed him first.
'He might be wanting me to eat first, thinking I'm hungry because of the memory just before falling asleep.'
Thinking that, he felt a tickle inside his chest at the thought that the innocent beast before him really was Kishiar himself. Yuder gave up on feeding Kishiar first and just put whatever he grabbed into his mouth and chewed. Kishiar watched this scene very happily and satisfactorily while holding Yuder in his arms.
"Now you eat too."
After judging that he had filled his stomach to some extent, Yuder tore off bread and held it out like before. The man finally opened his mouth and accepted the food Yuder gave, chewing it. It was an attitude far from his usual elegant appearance, but the sight of his Adam's apple moving greatly, cleanly exposed without clothes, looked free yet strangely sensual.
Entranced by that sight, Yuder silently continued tearing off and giving him bread. He came to his senses when Kishiar, after finishing one hardtack, sucked in even Yuder's fingers that had been in front of him and bit them affectionately.
"...Ah."
When his hand that had been moving continuously stopped, Kishiar took advantage of the gap to kiss his cheek and lick his nape. Reflexively, a pleasant shiver ran up his spine and he almost unconsciously tensed up, but Yuder endured it.
"If you don't want any more than this, I understand."
Now that they had finished eating, shouldn't they quench their thirst? Yuder filled an empty cup with water and shared it with Kishiar. To be honest, it felt like more than half was fed through kisses, but he decided to think it was fine since he had fed him anyway.
Afterwards, they headed to the bathroom to wash. Of course, Yuder didn't personally carry Kishiar there, but used the obsession of the man in his heat state to make him go on his own feet.
He didn't mind which direction Yuder went, just sticking to his back and following. With the man constantly embracing his shoulders and burying his lips against him, Yuder just had to go to the bathroom, not even needing to use his ability.
"After sleeping and eating, now we'll wash."
"Mmm."
Perhaps thanks to sleeping and waking up, he now made sounds somewhat like responses.
Yuder smiled slightly and sat down in the bathtub filled with water. The man naturally entered together with Yuder.

Kishiar still obsessed with feeding Yuder even during the height of his heat - Iโve said it before, but heโs such a doting alpha. Itโs so cute that Yuder realizes that all he needs to do to convince Kishiar to bathe is to go to the bathroom himself, and his alpha will obsessively follow. Manipulative in the best way an omega can be.
