Plans for the Future and the Road to C108!

Looking back at 2025, I realized that I was buried in work for most of the year...! There are still a few projects I haven't been able to announce yet, and I can't wait to show them to you all soon. Last year, I illustrated light novels, held a print exhibition, got to work on an IP I've always loved, and even released my first manga... I think I did pretty well, didn't I...?! (Just kidding, haha). However, the downside was that my updates on Patreon and X (Twitter) slowed down, which was something I really struggled with. I just didn't have enough time or energy, so I had to cut back, albeit with tears in my eyes... ๐ฅฒ
I'm pretty sure that around this time last year, I was thinking, "This year, I'll cut back on work and draw what I want to draw!" But when I get offers for cool projects, I just can't help but want to do them... I just can't say no to fun work! So this year, I'm going to consciously remind myself that "my stamina is not infinite." My neck is starting to feel a little suspicious (occupational hazard alert!)... so I need to be careful and pace myself so I can keep drawing for a long time to come.
Anyway, regarding my plans for this year, I have two main goals for now!
First up: Even though Winter Comiket just ended (and it might seem a bit early), I've already decided on some content for the next one, C108. I've recently started preparing a new original manga~! I'm planning to increase the volume a bit this time... maybe even aim for 40 pages...? (Oh no, I said it now!). I'm still getting used to storyboarding and writing dialogue, but I want to improve compared to my last work! I'll be sharing my progress here on Patreon!
And the second plan: The game production project with a friend that I briefly mentioned before has officially started~! (Current progress: Created a "New Folder" ๐)
Actually, we tried working on this about 3 years ago (?!) and I even made some graphics for it. But back then, we didn't have a programmer... We managed to make a demo, but I wasn't satisfied with it, so it got shelved for a long time.
Here is the concept art from back then. โ Looking at it after so long... my art style was quite different, wasn't it...?!
So, I'm just sharing these to give them a proper send-off... (lol) For the new version, I'm going to rethink the setting and rebuild the whole thing from scratch as a male-oriented game!
For now, the plan is to finish both of these projects around the time of C108! I'll also share updates on the game development here on Patreon as we go.
...And that's about the gist of it! Since I have a strong desire to create these things, my Patreon content might consist of more progress reports or become a bit irregular timeline-wise... But! I will definitely keep up with the monthly updates~! And of course, I'll continue drawing Shizuku-chan's daily life as well.
