Version 0.19 Released!
🕑 Added 2021-04-16 06:05:05 +0000 UTCWhew, good thing I didn’t try and release the game last night, there was a ton of stuff I’d forgotten to check, which is why I almost didn’t make it today either. The word count right now is about 18 000, but I will be updating the game in a day or two with the new Cynthia scene, which will boost it up to at least 20 000. I forgot that I had only finished one route of the scene, so there’s probably a good 500+ words to still be written for that one, but what’s there is checked and everything, so it’s very close to being ready. I’m also going to experiment with a QTE system for that scene. Since the vote was pretty split on that one, I’m going to use the scene as a trial run to get better feedback on it.
I completely forgot about spicing up the U.I. with more colors, so that will have to wait as well. I might slip it into the first patch for this update honestly, we’ll see. I didn’t manage to get started on the dungeon three boss, so I’m not sure if I’m going to focus on that for version 0.20, or do some more alley events to flesh it out a bit more and work on the boss at the same time. The alley has quite a bit to do, but I want a pool of random events in addition to spice up the alleyway, with the idea of it being so confusing to navigate that you never know where you’ll end up in the alleyways when you go exploring in them.
That should be everything for the moment, I’ll post an updated walkthrough in a few hours, but most of the new content can be found in the alleyway location. Daisy’s new scene requires you to have viewed her first two scenes, and viewed the scene where Beatrice uses her “special concoction on you.” At which point you’ll be able to purchase the concoction yourself.
