Version 0.15 Info
🕑 Added 2020-11-23 09:38:00 +0000 UTCVersion 0.15 is coming along nicely, hell, it might even come out on time for once, fingers crossed. As of right now, the new content is a tad over 17 000 words, which is probably why I might actually finish it on time. Right now, this includes one new enemy with two scenes, a new trap with three scenes, and a victory scene against the cultist if you are wearing the tomboy outfit, all in the third dungeon. I also went back and added victory scenes for fighting both the Slimes and Orcs in the first dungeon, finished an extra defeat scene with Alexandra that had to be set aside for time, and added two new events in the town of Elmgar.
Speaking of, the town of Elmgar is actually going to exist now! It will be a bit devoid of content to start, but you’ll still be able to instantly travel to locations of interest from the center of town, so you don’t have to worry about it just being a waste of time. One of the new events will take place by exploring though, so you might want to take a look around! I’m not sure how good it’s going to look for this update, depends on how much time everything else takes really. I plan to add more events to incentivize actually walking around the town as time goes on, but having it filled with things to do right away would have required the entire update to revolve around it, which I didn’t want to do.
I am also sprucing up some of the important locations with some NPC’s and such, like the Sorcerers Cauldron. Small things to add a bit more life to the places. I also partially redid the intro, to better take advantage of the game being in RPG Maker, instead of just being several walls of text, you can now experience first-hand how bad you are at using a sword! I’ll be adding a skip feature to the intro as well, because now you can’t just hold down ctrl if you’ve seen it a dozen times already, though I would suggest re-visiting it with the new content.
I’ve also fixed the text boxes with a bunch of the older content, currently 25% of the old content has been fixed, but I’m focusing on things like the quests, so it will probably feel like more of the content is fixed, up until the first dungeon.
The last thing you can probably guess by the several art posts I’ve made, but this update will be renewing and adding a good bit of art. The Barkeep, Beatrice, and Katie are already redone, and sex scenes for the Barkeep, Beatrice, and Katie are done as well.
I also re-added and partially re-did the modelling scenes with Claire, to better fit the personality I had in mind for her.
I think that’s pretty much everything. I’ll probably update this post a few days before release to update the word count and add anything else that is done.
