RPG Maker has a mac deployment option, so I did release a mac version of the game, but since I don’t have a mac myself, I can’t say how easy it is to use/how well it works. I’m going to upload another demo version of the game on tfgamessite in a bit that will have all the plugins I used in it so you’ll be able to check how well it works on your computer without pledging beforehand. What do you mean by being able to assign arrow keys? Like, the ability to remap the controls in-game?

Aside from the common effort in issues around RPG Maker, I think my major frustration is portability. Is this going to be something that I can run easily on my Mac? I would much rather be able to assign arrow keys than skip — although I'd like to be able to skip too.

You can hold control to skip text even faster, but it has an issue with word wrapping that causes it to get stuck on long passages that are automatically broken up into multiple pieces. I've found holding Z works well enough for me, especially if I've got instant text on to test things faster, so I didn't look into finding a fix or another plugin for that too much, maybe I'll look at that some more, thanks.

Full on scene skipping isn't very important to me (and I voted that way), but I would prefer if you found one of the text skip plugins. The double speed for animations and text while holding enter/z is fine and all but there are plugins that allow you to skip much faster (by not needing to render the text and just blasting by as fast as possible) if it's just text. This kind of thing is very useful for repeat playthroughs such as when testing new scenes with branching paths and the like.
