Version 0.39 Released!
🕑 Added 2023-02-13 12:45:33 +0000 UTCThe update is done! Ended up taking quite a bit longer to finish, but without a strict deadline I more or less kept finding things I wanted to finish before updating it. The main new addition is the green section of the fifth dungeon. Long neglected as the only route without any actual map, I think it's now my favorite section. It's more compact, but with lots of events to explore inside. Important note: I figured out a way to update the nw.js files for the windows version of the game before deploying it. The result of this should be improved performance, but it's possible it causes some bugs. I believe I tried something similar before and it may have had issues, but I've done it differently this time, so hopefully it just improves performance. Do let me know if you're getting errors on launch that you didn't get in the last version though, I can upload it with the base version of nw.js instead.
Now, for the actual update. The word count is exactly 12 000, which is about average for an update. I'd say I spent an average amount of time writing this update, so that makes sense. Where the extra time went is basically everything else. The green section now has an introduction sequence added to it, as well as its main section set up, though the main section isn't finished. The "dry dick golem," as I've named her, now has an intro event and a proper fight, and there's a new event you can find in the dark, cramped supply closet in the area, where a swirling green portal instructs you to "insert skull in wall". You should absolutely stick your dome in that thing, trust me. There are two other minor events in the area, and another main event in the green area that branches off of a previous one. The full details of what's new will be in bullet form below, for those who aren't concerned with spoilers.
Additionally, there is a new event with players with a submissive Katie in the blue room, involving the dreaded maid golem that can torment the player in the first part of the dungeon. She can torment Katie there as well, now that I think about it...
The last of the new content is in the town. There is a new scene with Sister Ann that will trigger if you've seen all her previous scenes and progressed far enough in the main quest line, and you can also review any of her scenes after you've reached the current end of them. Also, if you used the onahole trap in the fifth dungeon too many times, you may have unlocked a special scene with Beatrice. During that scene, her friend Steph appears, and hints at another scene between the player and Steph. That scene has now been added, if you visit the bar. (Again, check the patch notes below for full details on that.)
This update also adds a new CG set for the introduction scene of the purple part of the fifth dungeon. You can review the scene if you've seen it already by being caught by either of the girls in the dungeon after seeing all three of their scenes.
Now, for the other miscellaneous things I got around to that I had been putting off for quite some time. First, which was patched into the last version, I edited some previously added art to have closeups at times, to better show it all off. This was for some of the Daddy scenes. I also added a black choker item to go along with the trench coat you can get for one of those scenes, as I had the art made with the choker previously, and forgot to add the item. Added background art to all of Sister Ann's scenes (they don't have art of the actual scenes yet, but I've been replacing black screens with background art in preparation of the main art).
Additionally, I did a fair bit of retouching on older content, focusing on the content players have to encounter as they progress through the main story. I've edited the game's text in some cases so it displays several passages on screen at once, mostly for sex scenes, and added more eventing for others, with characters moving around and stuff like that to make things more interesting. In some cases, I simply added characters that, despite speaking, literally did not appear on screen while things were happening, lol. I mostly did all of that for the Ogre quest this time. I'm going to keep working on that though. I'd like to have the Alraune and first dungeon quest up to that level as well.
That's pretty much it. I'll update the walkthrough tomorrow most likely. Some other minor things were done as well, but I didn't keep track of some, and others aren't really worth mentioning. I also want to mention that I greatly appreciate how very few people unpledged at the end of January after I posted about there not being a charge. Thanks for waiting for the update! And thanks for all the support in general! There will be a charge next month, as normal.
SPOILERS BELOW!
Changelog of new scenes:
· Added a new blowjob scene with Sister Ann. Seems she's realized that giving pleasure can feel just as good as getting it. She's pretty gentle this time, but you still have to wonder what you've unleashed here...
· Added the intro to the green area, wherein a succubus magically modifies your tongue, encouraging you to orgasm with its newfound sensitivity. There's something off about that succubus though...
· Added a portal you can stick your skull into in the tongue modification area. This triggers a nice lightshow to distract you while the portal scans your mouth and magically transmits it onto the wall, at about crotch height. Do you see where this is going? Oh, and you can feel everything that happens to your mouth—and tongue—as well. Enjoy.
· Added a follow up scene with the portal. Your mouth doesn't actually leave that spot on the wall afterwards, and someone takes advantage of your waiting lips, while you're forced to decide if you should continue onwards or head back to confront them.
· Added a new scene with Steph, Beatrice's friend. You meet Steph when Beatrice has you on her lap in the store, vigorously rubbing your penis after it's shrunken down to a single inch, making you squirt your brains out. She promised to make you squirt even harder than Beatrice did, and boy, does she deliver. (You can unlock Beatrice's scene by using the onahole on a stick twice in the fifth dungeon. Afterwards, so long as your penis is two or less inches, you can find Steph at the bar for her scene.)
· Added a new scene with a submissive Katie and the maid golem in the chastity (blue) route. Being all locked up, Katie's pussy is completely off limits. Her ass, however, is quite free. The golem makes good use of this, wielding a strap-on that looks exactly like the players penis. Odd, that.
