Sometimes we all need comfort in a different way
Contains: "realistic" comfort, advice
A short one, but I think it has a good message to it! I also have to remember that sometimes listeners can't actually listen for longer periods of time all at once, so having some shorter comfort audios is nice sometimes! The sort of catalyst for this audio was me thinking about how Loki would offer comfort, and while I think that occasionally, he would be more soft and gentle, I think this is a more 'canon' way that he might offer comfort and advice. I hope you all enjoy, and continue on and be kind to yourselves, and give yourselves grace!=

Loki: It is not unnatural to yearn for comfort in times of strife.....however I believe one must be careful not to fall into the hole of toxic platitudes that aim to placate you, and prevent you from taking hold of the power that you wield....
Comfort is not always comforting......
There are days when kindness and gentility, grace and compassion are what's needed.......
But not always......
Everyone wishes to hear "everything is going to be alright".....but you must acknowledge that while many things will go right.....some things will not.....
Some things will get broken......and they will be fixed......but there are other times where things will become so broken that they cannot be fixed.....
In that case.....grief is inevitable......but completely and utterly normal.....
And you will continue on....
Life goes on.....with or without whoever and whatever......
And while the moments of grief may threaten to sweep you under.....and outside forces attempt to convince you that you are to blame.....remember......
Even if things are broken.....even if they are difficult......you desereve softness, you deserve rest.......
You deserve to be challenged by choice.....not stressed by circumstance.....you deserve a world that's built for you to thrive in....
Trust that instinct. Never let them convince you that life is supposed to be cruel and hard. You're not too idealistic. It should not be this way......
Yes....not everything will go right......but you cannot hate yourself into a version that you will love when things don't go right......you cannot punish yourself in any way that will unmake the past.....
You will continue on....
So rest well......eat.....drink....for you will need the stamina......
But you will continue on......
