The Halloween Party

“What do you think they do in there?” David asked, as the two eighteen year olds sat on a wall and watched a dozen or so college students haul chunks of wood and crates of beer into the forest.
“Party, I guess” Dylan shrugged, but he, too was curious about the tradition.
It had happened every Halloween for as long as he could remember. Large groups of frat boys gathered in the forest like some sort of coven, to drink, party, and god knows what else. Dylan could do little but fantasise about joining them once he went to college.
“Why don’t they bring chicks?” David asked, as another large group of young men strolled into the trees. “What’s a party without pussy?”
“Shut up, man” Dylan scoffed, “what would you know about pussy, anyway? You’re a virgin!”
“So are you!”
The two friends turned their attention back to the frat boys, but for very different reasons. Unbeknownst to David, Dylan had a secret. Whilst his friend watched the college students, envious about their private party, Dylan simply appreciated the eye candy. He was gay, and he’d known that for quite some time.
“I better go” David finally said, when the gang of young men disappeared, “I gotta’ go to my fuckin’ grandma’s house tonight. Can you believe that shit, man? Halloween fuckin’ night”.
Dylan gave his friend a sympathetic pat on the back, and watched as he jumped onto his bike and cycled off. “See you at school!” He called, and disappeared.
Dylan picked up his own bike, but just as he made to leave, he noticed a young man on his own, with his hands bunched into his pockets, walking toward the same gap that the other frat boys had entered.
He looked to be in his early twenties, just like all the others, and had big, broad shoulders, hidden by a thick jacket. Dylan glanced up and down the street, his heart racing a little as he considered doing something that he knew he shouldn’t, and before he could talk himself out of it, he hurried over, stashed his bike in some bushes, and crept into the forest after the lone young man.
It was already beginning to get dark, and the forest looked as though it was on fire with the flaming red and orange leaves falling from the dying trees. He walked slowly and carefully to avoid the crunch under his shoes, but kept the frat boy in his sights as he weaved around the trees.
It was common knowledge that the Halloween forest party was off limits to anybody other than the frat boys from the local college. Being caught trying to gatecrash such an event, would almost certainly lead to a nasty beating, and with the size of some of those guys, that was the last thing Dylan needed.
At eighteen, he was relatively small and scrawny compared to most of them. He wouldn’t even stand a chance against one frat boy, let alone twenty or thirty! Dylan slowed down a bit when he realised how badly this could end for him, but continued to stalk the man deeper into the forest.
He’d been in the forest plenty of times growing up, but never as far as where he was now. It took almost twenty minutes of walking before the college student finally reached a small clearing, and Dylan hung back to get a better view.
They’d already set up the wood for the bonfire in the centre, and had enough beer to feed an entire village. Dylan watched as a group of them spoke for a moment before reaching into a large black sack and pulling out a handful of disturbing looking masks.
One of them was simply a blank, white face. Another, a gruesomely realistic clown face, and on it went until all of the frat boys had received a creepy mask each.
Eventually, Dylan decided that it was too risky to remain so close to the frat boys in an area so far away from help, should he need it. He sighed to himself, once again imagining how it would feel to be part of the most elusive party in the town, and made his way back home.
“Aren’t you going out tonight, bud?” Dylan’s dad asked, later in the evening as the teen sat on the sofa, dull and miserable. “Where’s David?”
“Gone to his grandma’s” he sighed.
“Well, we’re all going to watch some spooky movies tonight, and you’re more than welcome to join us” the man said, and just as he did, Dylan’s little sister Rebecca ran into the living room.
“We’re watching Hocus Pocus” she announced, and Dylan rolled his eyes.
“I’d rather eat worms” he said, but the ten year old ignored him.
He couldn’t understand how, at eighteen years of age, his Halloween night was going to be spent watching Hocus fucking Pocus with his little sister. The idea of it infuriated him, but what else was he supposed to do? It wasn’t like he was the most popular guy in school. In fact, most people looked at him and David as being nerds, so he certainly wasn’t being invited to any parties, that was for sure.
And then it hit him.
“Hey” he said to his sister, “do you still have that pig mask from last Halloween?”
Rebecca considered it for a moment before nodding. She hurried off upstairs, and returned a few minutes later with the thing in hand.
“This?” She asked, handing it to him.
It wasn’t exactly horrifying, but he just needed it to hide his identity. “Yeah” he grinned, and got to his feet. “This is perfect”.
“Aren’t you staying to watch the movie?” She called after him, but he was already on his way upstairs, and less than an hour later, Dylan returned, all showered and ready for what he was hoping would be the best night of his life.
“Did David come home early?” His dad asked, as he walked to the door.
“Oh, yeah” he lied, “yeah, we’re just going out for a little while. I won’t be late”.
“Alright, son. Have fun and be safe!”
“I’ll try my best” he mumbled under his breath, as he left the house and cycled back toward the forest.
He’d never been one for wild antics, but he was eighteen now. An adult. Why should he sit at home on Halloween night, just because David had gone to his grandma’s? He was entitled to enjoy the festivities just as much as anybody else, and if all of the frat boys were wearing masks, then who would even know that he was even there?
Dylan dropped his bike off in the bushes once again, but it took him only a few seconds to realise that being alone in the huge forest in the middle of the night was a lot scarier than he wanted to admit.
The only light came from the moon above, and sent stark shadows across the dirt floor as he walked. Every crack and rustle caused him to spin around, and the further he went, the more nervous he became.
“Stop being a pussy” he told himself, clambering over a log. “You’re eighteen now”.
On and on he went, becoming more and more wary as he tried to remember if he’d even come this way earlier in the evening. He followed a trail through the dirt, but it was too dark to tell if he was on the right track, until eventually, an orange hue shone through the trees, and he took a sigh of relief.
He walked slowly, and hunkered down as he reached the same spot that he’d spied from earlier. He could see shadows now, and countless beer coolers planted around the clearing. The light from the bonfire made it too difficult to make out the young men who were standing around, so Dylan pulled on the tight mask, and prayed that nobody would notice him joining.
With one step at a time, he got closer and closer until his eyes widened and his blood ran cold.
The intense music from the speaker was loud enough to drown out the voices, but it wasn’t their voices that Dylan was concerned about. As the frat boys strolled around laughing, joking and partying, Dylan couldn’t help but notice that the only item of clothing that any of them had on, was their masks.
“Holy fucking shit” he gasped, falling back against a tree as he watched two young men grope each other. Their hands spreading across each other’s flesh, rubbing, twisting and squeezing.
He shook his head and fixed the mask to ensure that he wasn’t seeing things, and turned his attention toward another man who was gulping beer whilst having his large cock swallowed by somebody else.
“What the fuck is this?” Dylan gasped to himself, feeling his own junk begin to swell at the absurd sight.
“What the fuck are you doing over here?” A voice snapped, which made Dylan freeze in place as he turned his head to find a large, muscular, naked young man standing next to him. He wore a Mickey Mouse mask, though it looked as though the mouse had been mauled by a bear.
“I… I uh… I’m sor–”
“Get naked and get your ass to the party, man” he scoffed, and began to piss right next to Dylan, who quickly jumped out of the way. “You almost missed the Ceremony!”
Unsure what else he could possibly do without giving himself away, Dylan scrambled forward and awkwardly began to undress. If he tried to leave now, he’d almost certainly raise suspicions, so a moment later, he stood in his boxer shorts, shivering slightly until he felt two hands on his shoulders.
“You know the rules” Mickey Mouse said, and suddenly his boxers were around his ankles. “Now, go get a beer and get ready for the best night of your god damn life!” He roared, and the handsome frat boys all howled in response as Dylan stood naked.
What the fuck had he just gotten himself into?
