Back in Lockdown, after 103 days of no new Covid cases in NZ
🕑 Added 2020-08-12 04:36:07 +0000 UTCI know that everyone else has been suffering, but here in NZ, we've been back to normal for the past 3 months. Able to go anywhere within our borders, everything open, gather with friends and family with no restrictions. Because we've been Covid free, other than the people who fly into our country who are held in 14 days lockdown facility to make sure they don't infect our communities. But it finally happened, as everyone suspected it would. 4 members of a family in Auckland tested positive, and NZ responded with swift action, immediately putting us back into Level 3 Lockdown. The news came last night at 9pm, and everyone was shocked, but I have to say that I'm thrilled to have a government that takes it this seriously. That's how we we able to enjoy the past 3 months of normalcy while the rest of the world still suffered with this virus.
So, this isn't me complaining about lockdown... although having the kids home 24/7 and having zero privacy to record if a problem! I just wanted to post an update because I've gotten messages from several people who had heard the news... but also because I promised you guys I'd have a new FREE audio release today, and it's only half done, and now I'm having trouble finding the privacy to complete it because of Daddy's kids not leaving the house for school etc.
But I will do my best to finish it tonight when they are asleep... crossing fingers, you might have it tomorrow sometime. I'm sorry, but circumstances are beyond my control. There are 3 more audios that will come out after this one before the end of August, and don't worry, I'll make it work! Luckily I finished most of my private commissions and animation work already at the start of the month, and I'm not taking any more jobs for August so that I can be sure to fulfill my Patreon commitments first and foremost as always.
