From all hunters chasing her, that one might be the dumbest. And the loudest.
"*Yawh* It's a bit early to speak at that volume" Auri replied, watching him from above, looking at his movements while laying in a branch.
"Just climb down the tree. Let's talk"
Talking? For sure that was a trick. Auri just stretched, ready to take another nap and...
THOMP!
The sudden impact woke her up quickly. Confused, Auri looked at the loose leaves floating in the air.
THOMP!
A bit annoyed, she looked below. Finn was ready to strike another kick to the trunk, before the girl jumped down the tree and grab his shoulders from behind.
"What are you doing? Stop kicking my tree, you lousy human!"
"Don't worry, I think I hurt myself more than this old tree" he laughed, pointing at his own boot.
Auri frowned, trying to figure out why a hunter would announce his presence like that, and on top of all, try to talk with her. Before she even ask, the hunter took an empty glass bottle of his pouch, showing to her.
"Sorry for being so rude, but from the stories I heard about you, you wouldn't give me a chance if I didn't catch your attention in some way"
"Those bards got that right, at least" she looked at him, puzzled. "You are a weird kind of hunter. Where's your weapons?"
"I didn't came here to hunt you down, Fairy of the Lake. I come here to get a bit of your fur"
"My fur?!" she took a few steps back. "What kind of weirdo are you?"
"Hold on! It's for purely scholar needs. I'm an alchemist, and since I assume you're really a faerie, I needed a sample of fur to study a medicine to treat magical diseases, like lycanthropy. Are you fine in giving me just..."
"No." She crossed her arms, adopting an annoyed posture.
"W-what? Please! It was so hard to find you! And I traveled so far..."
"No. You're right, I'm a faerie" she was not, but he didn't need to know. "and as a faerie, we don't do charity. Everything must be upheld by a contract. So..."
"Alright" Finn looked at her with resolute eyes. "What do you want for a sample of fur?"
She giggled, talking off her dress.
"Make love with me and you'll have the fur you want".
Of course he would be embarassed! She wanted to see his face become red while he backs off, running from there. Oh! If she fainted it would be so funny-
"Ok." he started to undress "A deal is a deal!"
"Wahhhhh?!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few hours later, she was watching the alchemist with the fur walking away. One of her silk moths landed at her side, Auri pet the moth softly. Auri was smilling.
"Hm... I hope he comes back for more fur next time".

Of course not! You shouldn't reveal your sources ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Lovely story! I wonder if the guy will tell others about how he got the fur...
