That was an offensively bad movie. I love the original so much, and I knew this couldn't be even close to it. But Christ almighty, it felt like they didn't even TRY. Somehow these things are getting worse and worse. It didn't feel like the same story at all. I'm actually insulted right now. The characters were poorly written, the dialogue was terrible, the story was incoherent, the music was utter trash, even the animated parts were hideous. The original movie was a playful satire of fairytale princess stories, this one was played completely straight. It was exactly what the first one was making fun of! Like, did these people not actually see the first movie? You know what this felt like? A DCOM. This felt like Descendants 4 or some shit. I'm dreading what they're going to do to Willow later this month. I'm just done with these remakes and sequels. They're cheap and lazy. At this point, the only way I will watch anything else they puke up is if you (and only you) post a commentary for it, and I hope to God you don't š¤£š¤£š¤£š
