Oh how this reminds me of a super old memory, one of my rare memories of my dad's mom (must have been in kindergarten or slightly older). We told each other good night, as always it takes me a long time to fall asleep, at some point I turn around and notice she's still there behind my back, sit on the other bed in the dark silently staring at me while I tried to sleep (must have thought I was sleeping), I was like "You don't go to sleep too ? - No, I look at you falling asleep. =) - Are you sure ? I won't sleep right now you know. - Yes don't worry about me, you can go back to sleep. =) - Ok."
