Ooooooh I *hate* the frame with the skin on the floor. It gave me huge 2014 Under the Skin energy, and I hate *that* scene so much. Great remake of the original. I knew what was coming and was horrified anyway. Masterful! 👏👏👏

This def feels like an allegory for addiction. The mc picking at his hangnail out of boredom/"satisfaction", seeing the consequences it had, and yet not being able to stop once he starts. To the point he literally sheds his skin and becomes unrecognizable, no longer able to hide his addiction. "Is it bad? It's not that bad, right?" Those words had a huge impact and really sold it for me. Idk, maybe I'm overthinking, but I really like the idea of it. Super cool work, as always
