So the creepy cultists actually DID make contact with the old dead god and set his revival in motion, but I feel like the god was probably like that bird god in the game Ashen -- it didn't GAF about the humans helping it or not because humans are insignificant. Offering up eyes wouldn't have made any difference. Hmm...but then there's the "bone thing" that struck the moon before the cultists showed up....so maybe the cult's supposed "contact" was just a coincidence? Lots to think about with this comic!
