The writing in this show is great. First time I saw this I never would have thought that Root would be a character that would show up in the finale. As you said one would assume HR, FBI, Elias would be more important but its Root. As a sidenote, root refers to the base path on UNIX operating systems. Or the highest level of user access. As a software developer I appreciate these little nods.

The extra wait for this episode was killing me, but only because of how much I was anticipating your reaction, I totally understand and feel for you on the personal life stuff and I'm just happy I was able to catch this release before going to bed. This is a great episode, I won't elaborate on anything to avoid hinting at any spoilers, but I am overjoyed that you had a good time with it. I love that Zoe, perceptive as ever, put it together before our guys. RIP Alicia. Root shooting her is truly a surprising turn of events... but I've also always thought that it was a bit of a shame because Alicia had more potential. Fantastic in-person introduction to Root though.
