No doubt there'll be more in S1 that is relatively on the nose. Especially as it tries to straddle that line of appealing to the usual CBS crowd... while slowly edging towards something greater. And though there's realism, I really wouldn't look for it in the gun fights. Those are meant to be way more cool, fun, and flashy, than realistic. Promise you (not in a Carter way ;-D) that one day, you'll finish an ep, look back, and go... 'wow guys'.

Keep in mind that there's also an element of escapism in POI. Reese will likely alakazam himself into many places. Just roll with it, it's more fun, and it's worth it.
