Doug Jones is such a marvel at creature work. From terrifying (like in Buffy's Hush, and Pan's Labyrinth) to oddly human (like here, and ST: Discovery). The progression of their bar hopping night out is just so on point. From hyped to melancholy to food cravings to soul searching to silly and stumbling home. And I knew this was really something special when that unexpected end made me laugh so loudly in surprise.
