Just watched along with this episode. Very curious as to where it's going this season. I really didn't expect it to move full speed into almost killing Gene so soon. But Barry certainly has been progessively going darker and darker. It's kind of more tragicomedy at this point. But I like it. I honestly don't believe that Barry is capable of change... he's a fuse... though I'll be happy to be wrong. BUT... more importantly... my NoHo Hank has gotten his 50/50 with Cristobal. Barry better not mess that up.

Caught up! S2 dismantled any sympathy for Barry. There comes a point where the pile of bodies, and delusions about changing, the excuses, are all just Barry. Completely compelling to watch. Nothing better happen to NoHo Hank though. I just want Hank to be happy.

Finished S1... very enjoyable. Great acting. When you strip it away, Barry should be more unlikable... but Bill Hader's face and manner evoke sympathy. Mostly. Honestly, it reminds me a lot of Dexter. Barry even wears a similar looking kill shirt. Really adore Henry Winkler. And I want to hang out with NoHo Hank!

I only broke down and got hbomax last month... so now I'm gonna binge Barry, so that I can catch up and watch these. Cool, cool, cool.
