Butcher is a black hole. The Maeve/Butcher hook-up makes perverse sense... since Maeve tends to lose herself in self-loathing and self-destructive behavior. And Noir was probably all too happy to get back at Maeve for the almond joy coma. I fear what Homelander intends. At least Annie won't let it go. No wonder they stuck a carefree musical number in this one.
