Kubrick famously made Shelley Duvall's life a Misery during shooting with the amount of takes he demanded, but my favourite fact about this film is that he made his secretary type out Jack's manuscript in full for a bunch of different languages.
News to me - but it totally explains why Kubrick was showing him off! Thanks for sharing. :)

Fun fact: I looked up Garrett Brown after you pointed out how good his work was in order to pay my respects, and apparently, in addtition to being a great Steadicam operator, he is also credited with inventing the Steadicam!
