Sorry to hear you got so much heat for your very reasonable IT Crowd reaction, Neil - and your perfectly relaxed reaction to the slightly dated but still very funny jokes in this one (y'know, Jack Dee, kinda not so funny) demonstrates how over the top that pushback was. I'm glad both that you're a self-aware but moderate person and that you are not afraid to be a little critical of bad episodes when you run across them. There's too much expectation on YouTube that all reaction videos are just going to be all fan-love all the time.
