Start my 2025 with a fever dream
🕑 Added 2025-01-14 09:02:25 +0000 UTCAt the start of 2025, I caught a cold and ended up with a fever, which led to some really weird fever dreams. Honestly, I loved those dreams.
I've always been fascinated by dreams. I feel like if you pay close attention to them and feel them, it doubles the experiences in life.
In the past, I would often draw my dreams, sometimes as illustrations and other times as comics. But for a while, I stopped dreaming much and would forget what I had dreamed about. Lately, though, I’ve been having all sorts of strange dreams again, and I want to capture those experiences and feelings again.
"Meeting in the Quiet Swamp" is my first painting of 2025. In one of my fever dreams, I found myself in a pink swamp. It was a bit strange and scary, but also incredibly beautiful. I came across some amazing creatures, and I instantly felt they were friendly. I really hope I can be friends with them.
這幅畫作 "Meeting in the Quiet Swamp" 是我2025年的第一幅作品。

I think she goes over the pencil with pencil crayon and erases the graphite. The lines look different after the draft sketch. She stretches her water colour paper as well I think she posted a video on it here a long time ago.

I’m really liking your new works. I’ve been seeing videos on Facebook, so happy to see this here. Hope all of the other ones, we’ll see here too. ✨🙂 Question: How is the graphite not smearing when you apply watercolor? Do you dip the paper in water or apply something to seal it?

I love her and her pink swamp! I'm sorry you were sick but, glad you got your dreams back. I was sick at the start of the year too, seems this bug got a lot of people sick. Blah.
