Experimenting after all (Welcome to Borderlands)
🕑 Added 2022-09-07 10:13:24 +0000 UTCLast week, I left my plans for this week's video quite vague, and that was for a reason. I was messing with something that I wasn't sure will be worth sharing - but I guess it is.
What am I talking about? Have a look at the picture below.
I have been messing with comics-style outlines lately, after finding out that these aren't difficult to use. And I came up with an idea of Borderlands pr0n (in style and visuals anyway) - simulating its cell-shading.
Image above: I've been working on these scenes for a week, and only now I realized that this grass looks totally like spiders. WTF!
Anyway, this is a bit strange idea, and I do not believe this comix/Borderlands style will be better than my usual videos, but I do think such project might produce interesting scenes (especially of the NSFW variety) and it might be even more interesting to compare them to scenes without these effects. So that's what I'm doing right now.
This week's addition to my MEGA storage is 4min long video called 'Welcome to Borderlands'.
It is the first (of two? I guess) parts, that will tell story of a new (so far unnamed) character on planet Pandora.
This being my creation, you can easily guess what kind of story it will be, but this first part is safe-for-work, introducing new character, showing you the scenery, setting things up. This being in contrast with next week's video, that one will be entirely NSFW.
So, you can download new vid from MEGA to check first part out, or you can wait till next week for the 'hard' 'action', and I'll think about how to contrast this new style against my usual videos.
And when this project is finished, I'm starting Cthulhu episode 8, no more random experiments.
