This is sort of a weird story... on one hand, it's a rather serious look at processing grief and learning to live with the loss of a romantic partner. On the other hand, I guarantee there will be at least one joke reference that will make you groan out loud. <3
I'm not entirely sure how well it all holds together... There are some places where I rush through the feelings a little, and I've not edited it quite as much as usual, but both of these are because I was working with deadlines. And at least I got it to a place where it's done! So I hope you enjoy, and I'll be going back to my other in-progress stories to try and make more forward progress soon.

Oh my goddess you must pay for that final pun. But seriously this was really really good! I wasn't sure about reading it but I think this is one of my favorite stories of yours (and that's high praise considering the competition)
