We FINALLY meet the magenta-haired bassist from the OP and I am ENTHRALLED with her character and dynamic with Bocchi so far!
This episode was HILARIOUS and definitely showed the growth our sweet bean has made so far in the series at the halfway point! I just love it!

Bocchi really needs to stay AWAY from the booze for her own safety! Iβm glad she realizes that itβs not for her. GOOD. This episode was soooo good! Like you said, all these combined elements made for such a fantastic ride this week! I just love the bassist and her unique personality and this episode and discussion makes me want to know more about the dad! I SO loved the tie to Vinland Saga! Yessss!! And thank you! Ep. 6 - Bochhi on the Rocks Wait, this is not the show we signed up for! Oh no, poor Bocchi, you aren't ready to be mixed with booze! Good for her resisting temptations, even if it's through a depressing, downward dive into her future self's life of loneliness. I loved this episode! The animation, humor, character interactions, the music and impromptu street performance, I was living for it all! I agree the parents do seem a bit yin/yang now that you point it out! Bochhi does seem to take more after her father when it comes to some of her introvert tendencies. And the explanation of why the bassist's personality is something that introverts find themselves attracted to was interesting to hear. Also, we got a bit of Thors this episode - along the lines of "there are no enemies here." I had a feeling you'd catch it too, and you did! π A Ryou cosplay sounds so fun, great choice! Hope it's a good convention!
