I have SO much to say about this episode but this one is my favorite of the season so far...and for good reason! So much set up; let's GO!

This is one of my favorites as well! Yesss, Jinshi finally snaps and is ready to find the woman he loves! And you know, maybe he’ll thank her once he finds her or says that all of that was because she saved his life? I guess we’ll have to see on that! But I’m excited to see what goes down! Thank you for the comment and the kind words! I’m always excited when we get new ships! And yeah, we still have SIX EPISODES left to go…there’s a lot that can happen in that amount of time! One of my favorite episodes of the season as well! I love the episodes where all the different players start to move, and we got to see a whole new side to Jinshi, which to his credit, is something I think he reserves for only one or two people, and I feel is not an abusive trait Maomao would have to worry about - but damn did he command the room. In a time where you can have someone killed for looking at you the wrong way, I don't find it too concerning Jinshi has an outbreak over Maomao's safety, especially after all she's done, including saving his life. I'm still a little surprised anytime I think back on that, how he never thanked her for figuring that all out and saving his life, unless I'm mistaken! But yes, I was looking forward to seeing this discussion and reaction after watching it! So enjoyable! And those unexpected new ships this episode! I might need to buckle in for the next few episodes, especially if somehow the resolution to it all goes differently than expected!

It was established in the first season that Lahan is Lakan's nephew and he then adopted him. Khan I guess is the family name (so Khan Lakan and Khan Lahan, and technically Khan Louomen I assume) and La is the clan name.
