I loved this episode so much! I’m so happy to have a BL on the channel again! I love a good Golden Retriever top – I mean, character, to our Grumpy Cat! ^^ That is a HILARIOUS tie-in to WOH! ZZS and Adachi already have quite a bit in common! That’s interesting about the “myth” and ties into fiction! I would NOT want to hear people’s thoughts - sometimes ignorance is bliss! XD I really appreciate how Kurosawa is respectful and DECENT in reality, despite how he may desire Adachi - some other BL characters could…learn from him! ;) Thank you so much for the comment and kind words! I am SO excited to get into this series!

The tropes are definitely "dated," though I still see them showing up! But I do appreciate that this series immediately says, "Oh, we're NOT going that route," which I love! Thank you for the comment! I'm so excited as well to get into this series!

Yes, this was an amazing first ep and reaction /discussion of it ❤️❤️ As you mentioned I love the Golden retriever / grumpy Cat dynamic so much in BL It’s one of my favorite dynamic and ground to a lot of fun interactions Adachi gaining his ability because he hasn’t had sex or remained pure (whichever perspective we want to label it) reminds me of WKX from WOH saying in ep 5 that ZZS doesn’t fear ghosts because he is a virgin So it’s somehow a myth or grandmother tale used in fiction I think, that remaining a virgin until your thirties can grant you *unusual* abilities I wouldn’t want to hear other people’s thought, because that would be exhausting but also that would drastically reduce my social circle 😂😂😂 Kurosawa is so sweet, I like that the series showed that no matter how much he loved and fantasize about Adachi in his head (well not entirely as Adachi can hear them 😂😅😅) but still his actions remain respectful and he never crossed a line, which instantly makes me like him an awful lot! I m so excited for you to watch more of Cherry Magic 🍒
