This show is HILARIOUS - I haven't laughed this much with an anime for a while, now, and Bocchi's journey to becoming more openly social is so sweet!
I had many theories about how Kita would be as a character, but this blew them out of the water and in the BEST way possible! I'm feeling better and it's just in time for this amazing episode!

the Kira-aura is too powerful. Her sparkly eyes will melt steel beams and blast a hole through adamantium. Poor Bocchi never stood a chance

I cannot agree more about hating when shows needlessly drag out miscommunications between characters. It's so annoyingly common, especially in all of the high school romance series. Also, I really like and relate to Ryo as a character. I feel like it's pretty rare to see characters in anime that are very introverted without that being treated like a flaw that needs to be fixed or a symptom of social anxiety. She's just out here happily living her introvert life, and is perfectly capable of interacting with others when the need arises. The only similar central anime character that I can think of off the top of my head is Rin, from Yuru Camp. The two of them look really similar too, now that I think about it.
