Ya Girl Got her Voice Stolen - Possible Delays in Late April 2025
🕑 Added 2025-04-16 02:41:21 +0000 UTCHey all, First of all, thank you for the support! I have a little laryngitis right now and I thought I could record but I really can't...there may be delays with commissions and videos the end of this week and next week.
I'm sorry for the emotions, but I've been on time week to week for nearly five years without fail, so this has brought me a lot of anxiety. I also may have had a margarita in a poor attempt to help my throat before this. It's a long story.
I appreciate your support and hope you all can be patient as I let my vocal cords rest until I'm back to 100%. If things come out late next week, please know I will be working SO hard once I have my voice back to catch up to date with everything. Hopefully that doesn't happen, but this time looks like it might. I'm sorry!

Thank you for the comment and the kindness - I know, the gravelly voice is a trip! :P And yes, I've thought about this and am going to be taking a weekend in May and a week in June off for Vacation this year so that will hopefully give me a refresh as well! <3

Upside: you can say your favorite Jinx quotes while you still have the gravelly voice. But yeah, take all the time you need, I hope you feel better soon! PS. I would recommend taking some time off for yourself, maybe an extended amount of time. Every other reactor I sub to take vacations, it's not a big deal.

Ahhh, thank you! I've had four teas with honey today - two of them lemon ginger tea! I need to gargle some more salt water and get some sleep....I appreciate you all understanding; I think this happened last year or the year before and I was able to record through it, but this time it's really shredded my voice. I may have to watch some GBBS! Thank you for the kind words and I'm going to work my hardest...to get some rest and get better! <3

Rest that voice! You are doing all the right things. Do not apologize for taking care of yourself. We will be patient and wait till you get better. Honey and lemon tea, warm salt water gargling and lots of fluids and rest! Heck, take this down time to do something that you love, like binging the Great British Baking Show! ( Iβm playing that for my patients while they are in my op and they are loving it! ) Loosing your voice is so frustrating too! A few yrs ago that happened to me out of the blue. I woke up and no sound came out of my mouth! It was crazy! I hope your voice bounces back quickly and Iβm so glad to hear of your teamβs success! Now, get some rest! π€§
