I'm just calmly losing my mind waiting for Volume 5, which is one of my favorites in the series so far; no big deal! ;) Thank you for the comment and kind words! Love that we got Meryl and Millie featured! "Countdown" was a beautiful chapter! And the reason Knives is called that is sooooo good on Nightow! I love me some Zazzie and this volume let them shine! That is a really good point that Nightow curves his style to bend alongside the villains - I love that! And then you have midvalley, where there's this "smoothness" but also edge to it - I hadn't thought of it that way, but you're so right! Trigun, you beautiful series, you! <3 Thank you again for the comment and I'm SO hyped for next week!

Loved the reaction and discussion! Adore that we get a Meryl and Milly hardcover. 🥰 Countdown seemed like it potentially had the most subsequent panels with no text? Beautiful chapter. Getting extra context for the choice of ‘Millions Knives’ was my reaction as well! 😂 Zazzie is amazing in this one – definitely a different characterisation/interpretation in Stampede, more of a delinquent-type here maybe. I’m also noticing even more distinct art style differences depending on the main "baddie" of the chapter. I think in this volume this is best illustrated with any Knives chapter vs a Zazzie one, where Zazzie’s pages are nearly ‘buzzing’ with the amount of lines as opposed to Knives’ which are sort of a stark doom. A complete delight! Cannot wait for next week! ❤️
