I understand, I never would have mentioned anything if you hadn't said you decided not to watch it in the livestream. I played the Magia Record game while it was available in the US, so I'm kinda fond of the characters and story, but even as a fan I can see all the pacing problems and poor writing that brings down the series. Madoka Magica is a 9.5/10, Magia Record is a 6/10 and that's me looking through rose colored glasses. Thank you for the livestream, I only made it for about 30 min, but watched the rest today.

Magia Record has great characters, a great premise, an excellent story and good animation. The problem is that because it is based on the mobile game it is too much content and they tried to include about 50 episodes worth of story into 25 episodes. it could have been adapted better by cutting some of the characters off with their storylines or making more episodes with better pacing. You could watch the trailer for the upcoming movie and still have no understanding of what it might be about
