Ahhh, the idea that the anime previews were VOID now makes a lot of sense! I definitely want to go back and watch them now, so that’s fun! Thanks for that info! Judeau was so great…and Corkus as the jerk uncle! Yes! Ooohhh, yes, I can see major Keith Shadis and even Kenny vibes in a way, now. I can totally see Isayama doing a remix based on Berserk! Erwin the good version of Griffith? Ooh…I can at least see that in his moral standing about dreams…though I think Isayama made Erwin a much more likable character and redeemable character than Griffith in the end, but I’m not finished with this manga, so we’ll see! 😛 I honestly don’t see why Miura wanted it gone, unless there’s information given later that contradicts it, but again, I’m going to get to that point in the manga, so I have a feeling that we’ll be discussing Chapter 83 again throughout this series! 🙂 I would amend the term “violated” in that she may not have been “raped” by anyone but Griffith, but being strung up to where she can’t move, having her clothes ripped off, and being groped by all the demons - which is where Guts finds her at - is….still being violated. But I digress. I’m very strongly opinionated about this issue, so that’s just me. Thank you for the comment!

I'm glad to be past this part as well! I'm excited for the rest of the series as well and the Skull Knight being like the Hound? Love it! Does that make Zodd Gregor Clegane? :P Don't answer that! Ahahaha -- but I love the idea of him as this neutral figure stepping in whenever they feel like it! Thank you for the comment and kind words!

I love what the anime did with the episode previews. During the previews, Void is trying to convince viewers to embrace evil. And he dives deep into his philosophical views about humanity and evil. Its the best episode previews I have ever seen in any show. And its all anime exclusive. I think you will enjoy watching those previews again later on now that you have finished reading the eclilpse in the manga. Nothing needs to be said about Judeau. His value is obvious. I think of Corkus as the jerk drunk uncle of the family. And he gave Guts some good advice too. He warned Guts that he was leaving behind so much for some vague unknown future. And the parallels with Keith Shadis really shine here. It seems to me that Isayama did a little remix of Berserk characters. Erwin is a good version of Griffith. One who chooses not to sacrifice for his dream to see the basement. And Corkus is a less honorable version of Keith Shadis. I never read chapter 83. Miura wanted it gone and I think that should be respected. This reaction video is the most I have ever seen of that chapter. I guess there is no point for me to avoid it now. I am all caught up in the manga. And I just watched this video. I will read it later. By the way, Casca was not violated by anyone except for Griffith. The regular apostles had the intention to do it but Griffith was reborn before they had the chance.

Ok, thankfully we're past this part of the story, I don't have much to say other than I look forward to how the rest of the story goes... Griffith: "Give me wings" Soundtrack kicks in as eclipse happens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBBfjrPoTRY Random GOT thoughts: Skull Knight coming in clutch at the last second gave me vibes of the Hound coming in and taking Arya to safety during the red wedding. Only for JUNJI ITO readers: The visuals of the vortex reminded me so much of Uzumaki down to the tornadoes that block the outside from the inside and the events there are said to have happened before now I'm just going to pretend they're different instances of the same phenomenon.
