The idea that these characters' lives "continue when we can't see them" is so crazy and I love that being brought up, here. And then Hina cements it; yeah, the sobs are justified in this one, for sure! And YES, the sadness in this show is earned and not just for misery's sake. Like you said, it makes me want to ROOT for these characters! I just love it! Thank you for the comment and kind words!

This was it, the episode that made me fall in love with 3-gatsu. Something about seeing the match with nikaido. Seeing how yes actually this by is more than just a foil for rei. This boy's life continues on when we're not looking and is far deeper than what we see on the surface. And than that being followed up with Hina? That scene made me SOB. Like i just felt like joining in in the emotion. And it is just sometimes just a relief to join in crying with someone. On the other hand i love the compassion that this show has. Like everyone is struggeling in their own way, but it never feels like we're just here to put it in a crude way "to watch some miseryporn" we're not here to jsut watch them suffer. We're here to join them in the ups and downs and to root for them in too see where they're going. And in the end it just feels arm even in the saddest of moments if that makes sense.
