Ahhh, that's a good point with Nanami -- I forgot about that part with Nanami not seeing souls. That does make it make more sense in that regard - thank you for the comment and pointing that out! :)

About what you said about Nanami oughting finishing the job during his first encounter against Mahito : He never could've exorcised Mahito. Even though Mahito himself only realises it after his fighting against Nanami, he can't be killed by attacks that do not damage his soul. Nanami can't see souls and therefore cannot damage Mahito's soul. Nanami made the right choice her to damage him as much as possible and then run away, because in a battle of attrition he would've died.

I'm sorry, I couldn't help it! XD I love Nobara and Maki's relationship a LOT, though, too! My shipper goggles were on from day one, haha!! I also love that Todo is more "open-minded" here -- I do think Todo is an acquired tasted but still one that can "grow" on you as well -- and Gege is HILARIOUS -- I love their notes so much; they're someone I would DEFINITELY want to hang out with for an afternoon! And so relatable! Thank you so much for the comment and kind words! :D

Season 2 spoilers to anime watchers only!! ( Safe for Romania ofc. “I ship Maki and Nobara a lot. Or.. I have or would..” WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT 🥹 Haha no but seriously I do love their dynamic a lot and it’s really cute. I myself didn’t really make the connection of those two kinda being the rebels who are proving others wrong. It wasn’t until I saw the flashback with Nobara’s friends pov in season 2. That’s when it clicked. Todo dialogue about who you’re into is more open here. Huh, who knew. (Me I’m the one) he’s definitely grown on me in season 2. Gege with the author’s notes is hilarious but also admirable? He’s definitely down to earth. I love his “don’t end up like me” energy. Relatable 😅
