The realness of this show, especially how it addresses issues of insecurity and friendship and developing relationships is so true and hits so hard! I honestly LOVE Nao and Mitsumi's relationship! It's so sweet and I agree; representation has come a long way, so it's good to see it done well here, too. And YES, the pretty boy and pretty girl stereotype vs. how their characters are actually developed is really intricate and well done and we're only in episode 2! Cannot wait for more! This is the episode when I know this show is for me lol. When it is so sweet but also hits you in the feels just enough. I don't even cry when characters I love in other shows die. But when this show brings up overanalyzing people, being scared because you can't guess people's thoughts?? I tear up right away 😭 it is too real. Nao-chan and Mitsumi's relationship is just so sweet. I need more of them. Trans rep in anime has improved over the years but really good ones are still rare imo. So I'm very glad to see this. This show is starting to play with stereotypes a bit, this episode with both Sousuke and Yuzuki, the pretty boy and pretty girl. Can't wait for you to see more of them and the other characters too!
