Yeah, it's always funny to me when the first two seasons are considered "the slow ones", and even new reactors look back, from the fourth season, and speak of "the good ol' days!". They literally had body slushie falling through a ceiling in Episode 2 with a man-ham hitting the deck below. But it's a total testament to this series that it feels like it's still ratcheting up the stakes this late in the game. Such a wild and amazing show.

I once read an interview with one of the writers (maybe Vince Gilligan) that explained that they would often write a script and intentionally write themselves into a corner and then be forced to find a way to write themselves out of it. For most other shows the writers would go back and change some things to make it easier on themselves but with Breaking Bad they tried to avoid that. Cool process that paid off.

I told you! LOL! Bryan Cranston was nominated for an Emmy for this ep. And by good ol' days, do you mean when they were scrubbing dissolved body parts off the floor? And you're right. There are no loose ends. It's incredible writing, acting and cinematography. I can't wait until you watch the next two eps. The 5th season is divided in two parts, Season 5A (8 eps) and a year later Season 5B (8 eps). And it is not for the faint of heart.
