🕑 Added 2021-05-23 21:43:55 +0000 UTCNew update is finally here, sorry it took so long. The added content includes a new recruitable character located somewhere near the hive; a new area inside the hive, as well as a way to unlock Meeri’s predatory side; a side quest to the east of the otter’s village and a way to get to the seal’s island.
There is also a nightmare difficulty setting for anyone who wants to try a much harder version of this. Just be aware, it is a lot harder. Even the mice in the starting area can now prove challenging so be prepared to endure a lot of grinding.
Also, special thanks to Jeschke for both letting me use and helping me to add his characters, Marianne and Jane, to the game.

Had just gotten through the spider's domain with Merri and let her have the drider. However, even after letting her devour him, she does not gain experience after sleeping him off nor does she get the option to devour other defeated foes like the other preds. I don't know if this is just not implemented or something is bugged (I did transfer my saves from a previous, non-patreon version, but that didn't stop anything from happening).

Yeah... I really shouldn’t have made those doors quite that difficult. They open and close depending on where you step on the floor (always when out of sight and with no indication that anything else has changed). I wanted it to feel unsettling as things silently change when you’re not looking, but I’ll admit that it’s a frustrating aspect in most other ways. To open the door to the book, stand in front of the left most of the bedroom cupboards then head back to the room with the book but don’t go either up or down as there are switches that will close it again down both side routes. The book doesn’t give any reward for getting to it directly, but the switch to open the chest on the left side of the room is north of it (unless you deliberately walk around it and read it from a different angle it should be easy to trigger it) so after reading the book the door to the left most chest should be open. (Watch out though, that room is a little bit evil in its own right.) Also, to get to the chest on the right side of the room, first go past the door that leads to the room with the fire right to the end of the little dead end there, then go past the door that leads to the book (again to the very end of the corridor). That should open both doors to the right most chest.

Yeah... Harak’s maze is a bit of a frustrating puzzle and I probably should have made it easier. It is very slightly less mean in story mode, but not much. I might have to include some hints on how to get through it somewhere in the game. Also, thanks for catching the bug with Nashe’s coin. I've finally found what was causing it and it should be fixed in the next update, but that was definitely a weird glitch.

Sorry for the very slow reply here. Patreon isn’t giving me notifications when someone comments so it’s very easy to miss these. The route to the seal village is just east of the otter village. An otter boatman will take you across, assuming you’ve finished repairing the bridge.

Ooops, yeah, there is a bug in the healing spell. It should be fixed in the next update (hopefully), as well as the invisibility issue. I really should have tested that area more carefully. I’ll try to fix whatever was causing the retry glitch as well. Glad you're enjoying having a predatory bee in the party at last.

Glad you’re enjoying it. I can’t guarantee that nightmare mode is bug-free, however, (not that the regular mode is bug free either of course) as I have never managed to get further than beating a few mice and nagas under that mode. Good luck though.

so i love the game, but i do have a question, how do the doors in the Rabbit Temple work? because there's a book and a chest in there i can never seem to get to?

Alright, think I've done it all! Meeri enjoys some meat, got myself a new party member, got blessed and gathered some pearls, and found myself some buried treasure. Very nice update! Really enjoyed it!

Once again complaining on the internet works, I loaded the save again and got to the end after 2 more teleports (and I had Merri in the party at the time, that poor bee girl). Also it seems equipping the Emerald Pendant after you equip the Nashe Lucky Coin triggers the Vore scene of the Dryad for a random character of the party, it doesnt do anything if it succeeds but does apply Slow Down to whoever he "catches"

Been enjoying the new sprites for many of the faces of the characters, our Lizardboy looking like a Lizard now and a well made one at that. I managed to find and do all the new stuff but the Spiders Den is stumping me at the moment, is it just meant to be a teleporter maze and hope you get to the end? I managed to get to a point that seems like its supposed to be the last teleport but it keeps sending me back to area I was already in and Harak spawns directly on me after I beat him. Is there anything I am missing with the Spider?

Alright, got myself a coin and checked out Seal Island! Using Retry gave me a black screen once but not the next. Also, really liking the specific game over screens!

Alright, got me a treasure map and fed Meeri a jerk with a grocery list! Enjoying it so far! Though I will say, the sacrificial altar is a bit buggy, no pun intended, and seems to capture Pacha's sprite and leave you invisible. Also, using one of the skills I gained, I believe it was Restore, crashed the game.
