To answer your question about the spoon. Whenever people inject they usually put some cotton on the spoon and load the needle through it to filter out dirt and contaminants. To keep crap out of their blood stream ironically.

It always rubbed me the wrong way that Walt thought he had the right to “hold” (more like withhold) Jesse’s money. Yeah, Jesse blew it when it came time for Walt to make the drop, but half of the meth Walt sold was Jesse’s property.
