super old sketches + rant

the stars *really* need to align in order for me to draw traditionally, so many of these were done on the same day. i also do it the wrong way! you're SUPPOSED to use a chunky soft pencil (it would show so much better on camera too) but i!! use the thinnest most invisible pencil i can find!! so.... apologies for the terrible quality!
anyways..... here's a little rant for you (feel free to skip it and just look at the messy sketches).
i've been feeling a little weird lately;;
on one hand, i'm not happy with where i'm at as an artist, i feel like everything i make is stupid and bad, and that i'm not getting anywhere. on the other, i've been having somewhat negative/uncomfortable interactions with people online, and some people i *do* like have been leaving. there's also the fact that whenever i look up anything on pixiv i get blasted by hyperrealistic, AI generated cp;;;
i just... haven't been super comfortable whithin myself or the spaces i'm in.
this doesn't mean i'll stop making art (it'll always be my life), or that i'll stop posting. maybe just that i need more space to myself? i honestly don't know.
hopefully this fixes itself soon, but even if it doesn't, you'll always find me here.
i don't really have a conclusion, so... i hope you're having a nice day/night wherever you are!

i hope things get better for you. taking care of yourself is important and if that means spending time on personal things then i 100% support that.

Man, i'm sorry to hear you have been feeling like that lately :C i think your works have always been amongst the most unique and fun stuff out there and they get better constantly! Sorry to hear about the negative interactions too. I hope you feel better soon about yourself and hopefully you have managed to distance yourself from any uncomfortable folk :C

I'm sorry things are feeling so weird and alien lately, that the interactions have been getting more uncomfortable or negative and that you're in rough patch with your art. I know whenever I get into a negative mind space everything can spiral and all the things I enjoy become tainted by it. I hope you're able to get some time and distance to breathe, some space to clear these negative thoughts and get a break from the bad interactions.
