Not completely out of question considering the writer of the book, and director of Dune, said they drew a lot of inspiration for story from the Bible & Quran

Not to be that guy, but I do get Antichrist vibes from Paul. There are a lot of parrells between them. He grows up in politics & royalty, raised & born of a witch, he's called the chosen one, messiah, and to some false prophet. He can perform mircales and see prophecies. Then he dies & comes back to life, to everyone believing he's the true Messiah. That explains the Antichrist down to a tee in the book of Matthew & Revelation...down to even the Antichrist dying to only "arise" (just like it says in the Bible & film) later, fooling the world that he's the chosen one
