C.S Lewis and J.R Tolkien were friends, Chronicles of Narnia and LOTR are about the ideas of good and evil, narnia is more inspired by christianity, where Aslan is like Jesus/ God, and the white witch is like Satan. in the first movie she reminds Aslan 'every traitor belongs to me', like sinners belong to the devil. Sons of Adam, Daughters of Eve, etc. I think he also believed in the idea of children being more open to god, and more connected to holiness, and as you grow up it's harder to hold onto that. That's why Peter and Susan have 'grown out' of Narnia and wont return, because they questioned Aslan and themselves. But it's part of being a teenager, so a bit unfair!!

I ♥︎ Lucy & Aslan relationship. Lucy was the first to find Narnia & always had faith in Aslan. She always comes through ❤. Lucy is the only one who can see Aslan, while Peter and Susan, who have grown older and become doubtful, struggle to see him, illustrating the concept of faith and belief, like those who lose faith in Jesus/God.
